YOU HAVE PURCHASED A PREMADE COVER. WHAT NOW?

 

Send me an email with your information (like author name and title). If the title is not ready, we can do the retitling later. Please read my full terms and conditions prior to ordering a premade cover.

STOCKS USED FOR PREMADE COVERS

​

Any third-party stocks used to create your book cover are purchased from legitimate and respectable stock sites (such as Depositphotos, Shutterstock, ...), under a basic license (max. 500.000 end products). A basic license means that you cannot sell merchandising (like e.g. mugs). It is possible though if you purchase an extended license yourself (you’ll receive a stock list at the end). This also means that I do not use AI works generated by an AI bot.

PAYMENTS

 

All prices mentioned on this page are for ebook only. Add-ons like paperbacks, hardcovers, audiobooks can be added at any time, for an addition fee (see current price list). All payments are done through PayPal. All premade covers are sold as FCFS option (first come, first serve) and 100% needs to be paid in advance. A payment plan is only possible for single covers over $300 (unless otherwise agreed). Please contact me first to discuss possibilities. Retitling your cover can take up to 2 to 3 business days depending on my working schedule.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

A refund is not possible when buying a premade cover design.
Selling a premade cover to another author: it is possible for you to resell the ebook cover at the same price you bought it from me to another author (if you didn’t use the cover in the past), but you need to contact me before you sell as I need to give my written permission. No transactions possible without contacting me first.

LICENSE

​

When buying cover art created by Secrèt D’artiste (premade, custom premade or custom), you are purchasing the right to "use" the artwork, not the copyright on the design itself. The copyright remains from Secrèt D’artiste, unless stated otherwise. If you want to obtain full copyright, please get in touch. You have my full approval to use the design of the cover to make your own marketing materials such as: banners, profile pictures, headers for various social media platforms, your website, etc… I can help you with this, just let me know ;-)

 

WHAT NOT TO DO

You are not allowed to make changes to the cover design and texts yourself, unless agreed upfront.

You are not allowed to copy/paste pieces from the design and create your own artwork.

You are not allowed to use my designs to make series continuations yourself, unless agreed upfront.

You are not allowed to make text changes to the covers yourself, unless agreed upfront.

You are not allowed to resell your premade cover, unless you have a written permission from me.

 

 

CREDIT AND ATTRIBUTION

Always credit me in your books as the artist who created your book cover design:
